Complete dietetic feed for cats.

For cats with digestive sensitivities, a complete and balanced diet that provides supportive nutrients can help to stimulate healthy digestion and facilitate good intestinal transit. Available in 85 g pouches, Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy is exclusively formulated to support healthy digestion, while also supporting your cat's varied nutritional needs. The high energy content in Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy helps to reduce the volume of your cat's meal and decrease their intestinal load, which makes digestion much easier for your cat whilst also meeting their general nutritional needs. Incorporating an ideal balance of fibres – including prebiotics – Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy is highly digestible and contributes to healthy digestion and transit. Prebiotics help to stimulate the growth and balance of beneficial bacteria in your cat's digestive tract, contributing to a healthy digestive environment. Cats with digestive issues may have a reduced appetite. If your cat's appetite has decreased, feeding Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy could help because it is highly palatable with an attractive aroma and texture. If your cat is overweight or prone to weight gain, consider offering them Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal Moderate Calorie in Gravy that contains all of the benefits of their counterpart, just with fewer calories. As part of the Royal Canin® Veterinary Health Nutrition range, it is important that this product is only given to your pet when recommended by a veterinary professional. To cater to each cat's individual preferences, Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal is also available as dry kibble. If you're considering mixed feeding, simply follow the on-pack feeding guidelines to ensure your cat gets an accurate amount of both wet and dry food for optimal benefit. At Royal Canin® we're committed to providing nutritional solutions to your pet's needs. All our products undergo an extensive quality control process in order to guarantee the optimum quality of food, as well as catering to your cat's specific dietary requirements and lifestyle. This means that when your cat eats Royal Canin® Gastrointestinal in Gravy, it's getting a complete and balanced diet.

Really helps!

This is really good for cats with the runs!! Every time my boys have a bit of an upset tum I give them this for a couple of days it sorts it out. Of course if it continued or got worse a trip to the vets is always the first port of call, but I know my boys and what usually causes it and this it a great product.

Really helped my 14 years old cat

Was recommended this product by my vet for my cat who for the last year has been suffering from upset tummy and weight loss. After numerous blood tests... all normal, she was diagnosed with IBD and IBS. With a combination of steroid injection and the new food, she is finally putting on a bit of weight and her tummy isn’t cured but better.

Poorly cat managing to eat

I’ve started buying this a couple of weeks ago for my poorly 8 year old cat. They seem to enjoy the flavour - especially the gravy when they can manage to eat something. It helps mask the flavour of some medications that I have to crush/add to the food and is allowing them to eat what they can. W

Excellent product for sensitive tummys

I keep ordering this product as a recommendation from my Vet. It is filling but bland enough not to upset my cats stomach.

Good for upset tummies

We have two cats with Gastro problems so this food really helps to ensure that they get all the nutrition they need without the clearing up that ordinary cat can necessitate

Good for Cats with colitis

Whilst my cat was poorly she would eat it all. Once she started to get better she would only lick the jelly moisture. Having said that she does the same with makes of other intestinal gastro products. However she did like Royal Canin whilst unwell

Brilliant Cat food

I took my Cat to my local vets as he was terrible with bowel problems. The vet decided that we had full blood tests. The tests didn’t really show up much other than he was a bit low on protein. My Cat was terrible with diarrhoea it would be all over the floor sometimes he would go up to 5 times or more,he just couldn’t stop.Sometimes their was blood in it too with slime and mucus. So we decided that we couldn’t go on like this.So the vet decided to give him a try on this Wet food and he’s also on Royal Canin Sensitive Control dried food too.In the end the vet and us decided it must be IBD.He’s been on the food now for 15 days and it really does work.Their has been no more diarrhoea and his stools are normal again. He has a Wet Pouch for his tea and 30g of the dried for his breakfast. This food is brilliant and my cat is doing really well on it.He will have to stay on this food for life because of his condition. And we don’t ever give him treats either.

Have high hopes for this!

The vet suggested that I get this food for my cat who is poorly. I think it is having a good effect, but it may be too soon to say. Great delivery service as usual so I will hopefully be back for more.

Tasty!

Bought this on recommendation of vet for high liver enzyme results for Frosti. Was worried that he would 1) not like a special diet 2) get bored with one flavour but he loves it. Moist little rectangles of meat in a slight tasty gravy. Only downside is it’s labelled high energy which I think means it’s quite high in calories but Royal Canin also supply a moderate version of this food which we’ve switched to. ALT level has halved in 8 weeks on this food so will continue

Quality food

I have been trying to get my cat to eat this food for a couple of months. She suffers from severe diarrhoea and uses the litter tray up to 4 times a day. She has a form of IBS. To encourage her to eat the food, I have mixed in her favourite Sheba food, but she picks out the meat she likes and leaves the rest. Also added a few of her treats to get her interested in it. She will eat a little of it but is not keen. I end up throwing most away as it goes dry very quickly. Her condition has not improved but this is probably because she is still eating her regular food as well. I wish these specialist Vets food were made for fussy eaters and also offer single pouches to try before buying a box of 12. The vets can only offer a steroid injection to help with the problem but that cause too many side effects. Also tried her on the gastrointestinal biscuits, she likes them but prefers wet food.

Good in the short-term...

I bought this after my cat had a reaction to the painkillers used in dental surgery, in combination with the "sensitive" food from the same range, and it seems to have helped settle his tummy. He did get a bit fussy with it after a week or so though, so I don't know whether it just became too bland and boring, but it was a bit of a struggle! Worth the extra cost if you need a food that is gentle on your cat's tummy.

Excellent for cats with digestive issues

I bought this after my cat suffered pancreatitis and other digestive problems and the vet recommended this food. If I deviate from it now he gets sick again but he seems to like this and the equivalent dry food so it's worth the extra cost to keep him well!

Cat loves it and it works

My cat suffers from digestive problems. Whenever I notice loose poo I give him a portion for each of his next two meals. Always sorts it out and he can go back to normal dry food (James Wellbeloved)

Amazing

My poor cat was losing weight fast, had chronic diarrhoea, was drinking ridiculous amounts of water, had a swollen stomach and was lethargic wanting to stay in. The vet was about to put her on steroids which are dangerous and often have severe side effects as he suspected she had Inflammatory Bowl Disease (IBD), he told me I could lose her in 4 months. I firstly tried her on this diet, I was kinda sceptical, but I have to say that I'd never been so happy to see poo in the cat litter since it was almost normal a day later and within a few days it was normal. Her inflammation has also dramatically gone down, she is drinking much less water and she is wanting to go out again. I can't thank the makers of this product enough, IBD can't be cured, but this is certainly keeping it under control without using dangerous drugs that could had killed her anyway. This product has certainly given my cat another lease of normal life and I highly recommend it.

Very effective for cats and kittens with diarrhoea

I have been using this product often for cats and kittens and found that it always gives a good result. Not something they greatly enjoy eating though..

Life saver

This product was recommended by my vet and has no doubt saved the life of my cat. If you love your cat, feed it the best quality food you can afford for it and not what you immediately identify as normal cat food sold at supermarkets etc.
