Purina® Proplan® Veterinary Diets Canine NF Renal Function is a complete veterinary diet for dogs with chronic kidney disease. PPVD NF contains restricted amounts of phosphorus as this mineral can build up in kidney patients and has been shown to contribute to progression of the condition. It also contains limited amounts of high quality protein to help reduce the build-up of toxins, while helping to maintain muscle mass. Omega-3 fatty acids also help maximise the natural anti-inflammatory processes and reduce blood pressure inside the kidney.

Note that PPVD NF is not suitable for dogs that require a high protein/phosphorus diet diet such as pregnant bitches or growing puppies.

My dog is suffering from severe kidney disease, I didn't know this and just thought she was very old and her time had come, I took her to the vets the first time time in over 14 years other than usual check ups and boosters, expecting not to bring her home. However after the diagnosis and a change of diet onto the renal food she is back to near full health and a happy pooch again.

I think this food has helped my elderly Dalmatian who has been quite poorly since last year with kidney disease. This was the only thing that would help him,a change in his diet. My Vet told me about special diets,and I chose this canned wet food. My dog loves it and I feel he is still with me because of it.It is expensive, but worth it.0

For any dogs with renal problems this is great for them and more importantly the dogs love it plus of course price is so better less than from a vet

Just what the vet ordered

This is the only renal food our dog enjoys and as he is on it for life we want him to be happy - also a very good price compared to buying direct from the vet

What a saving!

I had initially been buying these biscuits from my vets at quite a high cost. Then a work colleague recommended this website. I save approx £20 per bag which is fantastic. The order process is easy , delivery is prompt and the offers are fab too. My 6 year old boxer enjoys the biscuits and that's such a relief due to her illness.
