KONG Kickeroo Cat Toy Giraffe

My cat came to me about 12 months ago through the UCDS at around 4 y/o and is timid and incredibly skittish so I wasn't sure if he would be interested in toys, but recently he started playing with a nip toy so, having seen how my heart cat used to love his kickeroos I decided to get one.
I've had to put it in a sock because he's not sure about it, the sound and feel of the covering material is clearly alien to him. He's not rejected it completely; he loves the floofy tail! I will probably get a 'fur' covered kickeroo instead and see if he prefers it. Bless him, he's clearly never played very much.
The price was reasonable with a good choice over the range of Kong toys.

Both of my cats, a very lively Siamese and a more sedate moggy, like this toy and have played with it. The Siamese who loves to gather the tablecloth and kick it, rarely kicks this toy but pounces on it and catches the tail. My other cat does kick it and she needs the exercise! However neither of them plays with it on a regular basis.

Well I certainly got a reaction on Christmas morning from both my elderly cats to these toys! The catnip is clearly irresistible to them. It was almost alarming initially but they calmed down as the smell died down. But for several days they were more playful and kittenish on occasion. Brought back memories. I don't know why they kick but they do and it definitely encourages them to exercise more than usual. I thought the toy looks good, is a good size and quality. All in all - a success!

These are fun toys which both our cats enjoy playing with. The design is just right for kicking and holding on to!

Bought for Christmas, but Harry sniffed it out when I got out the feliway - 10 mins in and it is still in one piece! Record! Harry is half Maine Coon and has a slight nip problem so VERY determined. Hope it lives to the big day 6 weeks to go

My human opened the envelope and straight away I could smell the catnip! It took her a while to figure out why I was climbing her legs and looking like I was going to pounce on her but when she finally did I didn't even give her a chance to remove the toy from it's cardboard packaging - I wanted it right away! I was having a lovely time kicking, biting and rubbing my face all over this toy, until my pesky younger brother Dex came and wrestled it off me! Tsk!

I bought this for one of my 3 cats who gets very stressed. However he hardly gets a look in as my 14 year old cat who has played for years has claimed it as hers! She hasn't played like this since she was a kitten! I will have to buy 2 more for my other cats.

My cat loves this toy and really enjoys kicking it, however it is a pity that there isn't a pouch to put catnip in it

My kittens love these product its just funny to see them wrestling this these. on the plus sign it keeps them from scrating the sofa, I thing is a valuble product thanks VetMed

Our 14 wk old kitten loves this, we give it to her when she starts to get a bit 'bitey' thinking our fingers and hands are fair game. She loves to play with it, she'll drag it, lick it and when she's shattered she cuddles it and falls asleep! I didn't realise until after ordering they do a kitten version which may be easier for her to cart about but she loves this anyway so we'll stick to this size. I'm going to order another one soon!

My cat has never really shown any interest in cat nip toys before, but he loves to kick at toys with his back paws. He loved this toy from the off! It's just the right size for him and your fingers are safe behind the thick bag. Never seen him spend so long playing with a toy without me having to move it.

The best cat toy ever, I have recommended them to everyone I know. A great product and cheap to boot, a must for every cat owner!!

My cat loved this toy from the minute it arrived.She used to hate being brushed but since I used the Kickaroo as a reward , she now lets me brush her as often as I like!

Excellent product, all my cats love them, they kick and fling themselves all over the place, a great toy, well worth the money, my cats have definately enjoyed playing with their ones, I am recommending them to all the cat owners I know!!! :D

Absolutely amazing she loves this toy and whatever the catnip is in it she adores it even now 6 months later she is still licking and loving it all over the room.

As soon as i opened the box one of cats came out of no- where and grabbed it and ran off before i could even blink never mind take off the packaging! Looks like i will need 2 or there will be a big fight. Great toy.

My cats went crazy for this toy at last I thought something to entertain. Unfortunately my pleasure was short lived when I found within half an hour of giving the toy to my cats white filling all over my carpet!

I've not seen so much life in my cats with a toy till this. My cats don't really go for toys they have to play with alone. This breaks all the rules they love it, it get's chucked in the air, hugged, used as a pillow and clawed but takes it all. I'm back to buy more so they don't have to share.

My tom cat loves killing his Kickaroo. It is just the right size for biting, grabbing and kicking at the same time. It gets battered and dragged round on a daily basis.Unsure as to whether it`s the shape or the cat nip that appeals to him but he loves it.

They really aren't kidding when they say it will become your cat's favorite toy, the moment I showed this to my kitty she went nuts! Rubbing her face against it, kicking her hind legs and biting and generally trying to play-kill it. It's well made too, no signs of ripping or anything.

Unsurprisingly our kittens love this, but definately by far we get the most joy from seeing our `Granny` Cat enjoying this. The kittens like to kill it but our 16 yr old goes into a state of ecstasy, rolling around, purring and dribbling. It`s a pleasure to watch her be so happy, especially after we thought we were going to lose her last month when she got seriously ill. Great purchase.

Finally a large enough play toy without being too large. Perfect width and length for a cat.Well made and no shedding from the materials so far. The only problem is there does not seem to be enough cat nip inside as my cats although they play with it, go back to the little square beanbag that I have had for 3 years. pros: excellent length and stands up to the kicking the cats does to it. cons: not enough catnip.
