I imagined that buying a fish related product would affect my dog detrimentally.

I WAS WRONG ON MY INITIAL ASSUMPTION. SHE WOLFED IT DOWN AND THERE WERE NO FISHY AFTER-EFFECTS.i HAD BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT THINKING I WAS GIVING HER A CHANGE.iT PROVED VERY POPULAR.

Good kibble

We use this for our golden retriever who has a soya allergy. She is spoilt and refuses to eat just kibble so we mix this with tinned natures menu hunter also. The kibble helps to keep costs down. She enjoys it and we know it doesnt cause issues.

Good quality dog food with none of the noticeable nasty ingredients.

We've been feeding our English Springer Spaniel for 8 years on this. We have tried other foods in that time for periods of time, but our dog would never settle on anything but this. Either too constipated on other foods or pooing too much. James Wellbeloved seems to be just right for our girl.

Prices have went up in recent years quite significantly compared to other brands so it's not quite the value for money it used to be, but sometimes you have to just pay more for quality.

Meat content could still be higher with less carbs especially considering the price of the food, but again it seems to suit the dog so maybe they've got it right.

I can't speak for the flavour of the stuff, but the dog seems to like it. Sometimes we soak the food for her as she has in the past eaten a bit too fast and struggled.
