Hill's Prescription Diet k/d Kidney Care Dry Dog Food - Original

Purchased for my elderly greyhound who has kidney disease. She eats it happily and her kidney disease is stable. Good value.

This was prescribed by my vet for my 13 year old Labrador. She eats it with no problem and has put on some weight since eating it. I have always kept her at the correct weight but the vet tells me that given her kidney problem it would be good to put a little extra weight on her. The good thing apparently is that she is eating it because even labradors can go off their food. Perhaps it helps that I have a second dog so she knows if she leaves it the other dog will eat it. There has been a marked improvement in her health, long walks are out but she is fine on gentle walks and can be quite sprightly, the main thing is she is happy and can get about easily. There has been a marked improvement in the smell from her breath. In summary, it is great if your dog will eat it.

We have two pups with kidney problems, one worse than the other. Both the dogs eat it, I mix it with dry renal food and a little bit of renal tuna cat food so they really enjoy eating times.

due to Kidney problem dog cannot have anything but Renal food. This type in particular he really enjoys & it is very good value for money.

3.5 year old boxer, had renal failure and followed up by a week at the vets and a referral to small animal hospital. The vet there placed her on Hills KD wet food, and dry. 1 can a day of wet along with the relevant amount of dry. She has 2 meals aday mixed with her prescription meds. When she was taken ill we expected the worst, and this, along with the meds has given her a new lease of life. She is as lively as ever, and we get to enjoy her for a lot longer too. Theres life in this dog yet :)

Had to change my dogs diet as has the early stages of renal failure along with a sensitive tummyso needed to make the choice for the right balance and k/d renal heath has done exactly that! Gentle enough to keep his tummy settled and has all the nuturients he needs for a balalnce diet without putting pressure on his kidneys - perfect

I am nearly at the end of my 2nd 5k. bag of k/d dry food. My greyhound is not getting any worse but holding his own despite renal failure.

I have an elderly collie cross called Charlie, who has kidney problems.Every day had turned into a routine of washing her bedding and the floor around her as she appeared to have lost control of her bladder.The problem got so bad that we were worried that she coming to the end of her days, as medication didn`t seem to be effective.As a last resort, our vet advised us to try this product. We ordered some although we didn`t feel much hope that something as simple as diet would help.The
