FRONTLINE PLUS® Spot-On Flea and Tick Treatment for Dogs is a powerful topical solution designed to eliminate fleas and ticks upon contact. This means that fleas and ticks do not need to bite your dog to be killed. Suitable for dogs from 8 weeks old, as well as pregnant and lactating dogs.

This treatment is highly resilient, maintaining its effectiveness even with weekly bathing or water exposure. However, avoid bathing your dog or letting them swim for two days after application for optimal results.

The active ingredient fipronil eradicates fleas and ticks directly on your pet, while the additional IGR (Insect Growth Regulator) technology with (S)-methoprene halts flea eggs from hatching, thereby breaking the flea life cycle and offering comprehensive household protection.

FRONTLINE Plus ensures fleas are killed within 24 hours by targeting their central nervous system, causing them to become more visible before dying. The non-systemic nature of this treatment means that fleas and ticks are killed upon contact, without needing to bite your pet.

Ticks may still attach to your pet, but they are killed within 48 hours, significantly reducing the risk of disease transmission. This easy-to-apply spot-on solution provides ongoing protection when used every 4 weeks.

Application Instructions

Apply the product directly to your dog's skin at the base of the neck, in front of the shoulder blades. This ensures effective killing of adult fleas and ticks on the pet. For continuous protection, use FRONTLINE Plus every 4 weeks.

Important Considerations

If your dog is unwell, consult your vet before applying any flea treatment. FRONTLINE PLUS® is not suitable for use on rabbits.

For optimal results, avoid bathing your dog or letting them swim for two days after application. Efficacy against ticks lasts up to 2 weeks in dogs, with a minimum treatment interval of 4 weeks.
