Burns Canine Weight Control For Overweight or Diabetic Dogs 15Kg

I buy large bags of dried food for my dog, and it's great not having to lug it back from the shops myself!

We are happy with the product we have been purchasing for a number of years now

I bought this for my 15 year old Labrador, Jess, who is very arthritic now and is unable to take the same exercise as she used to. Consequently, I want to keep her weight down to make it easier on her old bones. She loves it!!

Excellent product for older dogs and reliable quick delivery.

My Cocker Spaniel rescue dog has done well on this food and lost his excess weight. He likes it mixed with his wet food.

Our overweight cavalier has been on this food a good few weeks now. She absolutely loves it!! And she's losing weight which were really pleased about. The only down side to the food is that it doesn't keep her full for long enough. It is supposed to keep your dog fuller because of the oats and fibre added in. Not sure whether it's just a breed thing? It may be? Overall though she's happy on the food.

Bought this weight control Burns it’s great for my dogs. I’m just wondering why the 15kg bag was £46.49 and now you are charging £46.55 for the 12kg bag which is more than the 15kg bag. It doesn’t make sense and needs an explanation. Mrs Gill Colerne

Been using this product for a few years now. I originally purchased it as it was a larger bag 15kg. Unlike similar products of 12kg I was getting an extra 3kg & paying the same as a 12kg bag. Recently the cost has increased & bag size decreased. Which has disappointed me but I also know lots have things have increased in price. As my dog is 12 I won’t be changing her food now. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the quality. I do like the new bags the food comes in, so much easier to open.

The food as always very good. I am disappointed with the smaller sizes of bags 12 kilos in stead of 15, plus an added increase in price.

Have given Burns Weight Control to my two Cavaliers for many years. They love it and it keeps them trim. Excellent delivery service from Pet Supermarket makes this a definite no-brainier.

We use this for one of our dogs who gains weight very easily. He lost his excess weight and has maintained it on this product. As it doesn't weigh a lot he gets a decent amount to eat unlike some products. He looks good on it and has plenty of energy. Unfortunately due to dreadful service from pet supermarket I shall be purchasing elsewhere next time

I researched for a while when my dog had tummy trouble and eventually went for this one. I have bought it ever since as this is great food for my dog. She is healthy and happy, can't wait to eat it and her tummy troubles have gone - we have used this for about 4 years now. I sometimes add a little hot water to soften it as a treat and she can't eat it fast enough! She is a cocker spaniel and food is her thing (!) this keeps her weight stable. Really pleased with this.

My two rescue Labradors love this food, it doesn't upset sensitive tummies and it keeps them satisfied to control their weight. Deliveries are always speedy and reliable from pedmeds - win, win all round.

My siberian Husky loves this and it helps keep her weight down as i don't want her to get diabetes like her mum did.

Our springer spaniel adores these biscuits and they help so much in controlling his weight, excellent purchase.

My Labrador Poppy continues to thrive on this food and her coat is so beautiful - at almost 15 years old I think she's a good advert for Burns!

Excellent Service, this is the best food we have found to stabilise Diabetes in one of our dogs and it helps that her sister also enjoys the same food. At 13 years plus will not look elsewhere.

I previously had a delivery service via my dog trainer which has now ceased to trade. Having tried a couple of different online outlets who deliver, I have found petmeds to be not only the most reasonable, but certainly the most reliable when it comes to food being in stock and delivering within projected timescales.

My Labrador is 14 years old & has osteoarthritis.I switched her to this food when the other brand also weight control was making her poorly..Haven't looked back since!Shes more contented,more comfortable & a very happy girl again.Far more contented & sleeps all night! Excellent help my bearded collie loose weight without being hungry

Great food, really helps to take any extra weight off my dog easily, without her being hungry and feeling she's being deprived.

I have a diabetic 13 year old Labrador and this food really works well in keeping her weight down and importantly she enjoys it. Well worth buying
