Burns Canine Original Lamb & Brown Rice

The best dry food I've found for my greyhounds. Keeps them in good nick and full of beans. Wouldn't feed them anything else. Only problem is that the bag runs out before the month.

I have been buying this food for 12 years and I can’t fault the quality of it. My only issue is they have shrunk the bag from 15kg to 12kg but the price remains the same.

My dog has been on this food for nearly a year now. He has had terrible an*l gland problems since he was a pup, but since changing over to Burns lamb & brown rice I can honestly say that he's only had one incident but that was when he was feeling stressed about fireworks going off. It also seems to have helped his waxy ears too. I'm very happy giving him this food and he always clears his dish every meal. Sorry it won't let me post with the word an*l as it says its a profanity, even though it is the proper term....madness!

Good that I was able to choose the best size of Burns for two enthusiastic eaters - they're happy, so am I!

Have been using this product for 8 years. As a puppy my Bernese was always getting an upset tummy but I changed his food to Burns and he has never looked back.

I suppose this is a question as much as a review. I've always used Burns food for my Labradoodle and she does well on it. The most recent bag delivered actually looked and smelt different to previous ones. I certainly don't like the smell of this particular bag. Any idea why there should be a change?

This has been a regular purchase. My Bichon Frise, a absolutely thrives on it.

Burns Original was recommended to us by a fellow Newfoundland owner. Both their Newfies lived to good ages for a giant breed and their diet (and the Burns recipe) may have helped the quality of their dogs health. So we thought we would try it for our Newfie (we mix in some wet food - although this isn't necessary). We haven't looked back since switching to Burns; our Newfie hasn't tired of Burns. We have placed many orders with Pet Supermarket and continue to do so.

I struggled to find a dry food my Welshie would eat as a puppy but she loves this and still has it everyday.

I've been feeding my Westie Burns food for nearly 10 years after it was recommended by the vet. It's superb quality, excellent value for money, and it's kept him very fit an healthy.

Hi I am using this food as a mixer with nature's menu to try and cut costs really works well but personally I wouldn't feed this food on its own as I think there's enof meat in it plus my dog wouldnt eat it on its own :) hope this helps .cassie owner and Benji the patterdale terrier

My westie had the usual issues as puppy : diarrhea and itchy skin. He was not thriving on his previous owner's diet. 6 months later and he was growing again

Have been feeding my Labrador this for 5 months and can really see the difference in him. He has lost weight, has a really shiny coat and has really solid poo - tried him on Burns Alert first but that didn't agree with him at all. This is the best value feed can be mixed with wet food if needed and can be fed wet or dry - my labrador wollfs it down as soon as his dish goes down, Wouldn't change his diet at all!!!

I have been feeding my female Staffy on this since I re-homed her from the kennels, you can really see the difference in her! Her waste is less often compared to other meat and biscuits and can easily be mixed with water, gravy, small amount of meat to vary the meals. I wouldn't change this for anything else. Doesn't work out that expensive and I live alone, have it delivered for free too!

My Belgium Shepherd has been kenneled since birth and we rescued her two weeks ago. She is 8 months and came to us with a very upset stomach and no idea of how to produce solid waste at all. She has been on this food for 5 days and we now have solid waste and she goes through the night which she could not do before. So far so good I will persevere but I think this burns adult dog food has been the turning point and I will not change her diet unless anything changes. It may be expensive but so is disinfe
