SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder

I love this product

It took my cat just 3 days to learn how to use the pet feeder.
I bought it because my other cat is on a diet and he would steal food if given the opportunity. It saves us having to put her food up as she is a grazer.
Great product.

It works as described, easy to connect to the cats microchips, and closes within seconds of them walking away so prevent food stealing. VERY expensive for what they sre though, for that price, I would expect it to include batteries at the very least, or the company to "get with the times" and update their model to include usb-c charging. Having to buy 4 huge batteries per unit is not cost-effective nor eco-friendly. I'd prefer it to come with an app or some sort of timer setting installed without having to buy an add-on. It would be convenient to have the food set up to open at a certain time of day. All in all it does what it says on the tin, it is a microchip feeder. But very expensive with lots of room for improvement.

It's a good product and now means I don't have to watch my 2 cats while they eat as I can be sure the g
reedy one (side effects of illness and medication) doesn't eat the other ones food and that the other one can't accidently eat food with medication in it. They only needed a little encouragement to use it, and consistent praise when they did, now they just go and eat when they want to. It was a good price too.

Easy to set up and opearate. Opens and closes very slowly and quietly so it doesn’t scare the cats. Took 2 days for my smart cat to get the hang of it and 1 week for my dumb cat.

So far so good , bought as 1 of my cats wasn't eating so had to buy different food and this way I know its her who has ate it

Works well, after a few days for the cat to get used to it.

I love these feeders. They have their occasional moments where they need resetting but I absolutely rely on them to stop my male cat eating my female cat’s food and they work perfectly for that. My male cat has to wear a tag because it doesn’t recognise his chip but my female cat’s works off her chip.

It was great at first, then broke after 2 days, Petwell the company who sold it directed me to another company to sort the issue out and in my opinion should of taken more responsibility as the seller. The other company was very helpful and has issued me with a replacement, that is a problem as now my 2nd cat will be without it for 3-4 working days from today 24th January and he's been without it for 2 and is trying to get into his brother's and now his brother is stealing his food which was why he got one in the first place

This was bought as a replacement for an older one which had stopped working (after several years).
It's much quieter, virtually silent, and this makes it more pleasant for us humans and easier to train a new cat to the bowl. I have a total of 4 cats, each with their own bowl. I wish I could afford to replace the other 3 with this newer model

We love these pet feeders. We can feed our cats separately knowing that each will get the right amount of food.

I have three cats with different food needs. Misty who is seventeen and has a supplement for her arthritis and can eat as much as she likes. Daisy who is the greedy one and needs restricting as is a little plump. Duke is the easiest but with the feeders his sister Daisy cant steal his . The two girls took to their feeders quite quickly but Duke took a bit longer to get the hang of it. I am happy with the feeders as it allows me to feed each cat according to their needs and for them to eat even if I am out.

Purchased two cat feeders when we adopted two more kittens. The microchip cat feeder was intended to stop the newbies from stealing our older cats food. In part this worked until the younger kitten worked out if she stood next to him she could still steal his food until he moved and the action closed the lid. Her sister has a chip feeder and as she will not tolerate theft of her food the feeder does work. Getting into the habit of the same coloured feeder and the same place is worth it though. Good purchase. Once our little sneak thief is old enough to be chipped we are definitely purchasing another feeder .

I have 2 Maine Coon kittens, 9 month old Dougal and 4 month old Dylan. Dougal has never been a greedy cat but when we got baby Dylan, Dougal thought all the food was for him. I purchased 2 feeders so it was easier to monitor who was eating what. I put Dougal into feeder 1st to get his chip details and his chip registered immediately as did Dylans in his feeder. I did not need any further training as both kittens now no what feeder is theirs. I will now have to purchase a set of coloured bowls to make it easier for me. Very impressed with these feeders.

I Have two cats which eat different amounts! One will eat until all the food is gone and the other just picks through out the day. So this is perfect for the picky eater. She can leave her food and know ifs safe!

These feeders have transformed our lives. Four cats, two on special diets, feeding time was a nightmare. It felt very stressful for the cats and us alike. Now I know who is eating what and how hunch. Phenomenal relief. Easy to set up, even a Russian microchip was recognised straight away. It is very reassuring to know those microchips are functioning well.

I decided to buy the feeder as my singapuras kept polishing off each other’s food. I was worried as to how long it would take them to get used to the feeders however they took to them straight away with no need for the training function to be used! I’m hoping that now I can try them on different foods to meet their specific needs and I won’t need to worry about them eating from the wrong dish.

My very nervous cat finally has her own eating place! I took time to introducing her to the new system but it had really been worth it. My sons dog can no longer snaffle her food and it keeps the food much fresher. Neat and portable she now knows it's HER food. Expensive but worth it.

2 cats - one fussy eater and one who will eat everything in sight = one over skinny cat and one Porker & Vets description. This bowl has transformed the situation - skinny cat can now eat whenever she wants and Porker is now on a strict diet. Excellent product.

Surefeed microchip pet feeder is brilliant and so easy to set and use! I have two cats, one greedy and the other a grazer. The training is well explained and straightforward. Once in working mode, the look on the greedy cat's face when she couldn't get to the grazers food & after she had bolted down her own food, was a picture I will not forget for a long time!!

Very good and exactly as described. It only took a few days to train up my cat and save her food from the other piggies

great product, i have 2 cats and one was always eating the others food so this has been a godsend.

I bought this product as I own 2 cats and 1 cat is a bit greedy! I use this product for my cat that is trusted to have dried food down all day. For my other greedy cat I now weigh out his food into a normal bowl. The greedy cat can not get into the SureFeed. I have had this product for over a month now and it has definitely been beneficial to suit my particular problem. It is very easy to clean! An overall good product!

We have two cats, one is skinny, hyperactive & very playful whereas the other is a hungry, overweight fuss-pot. The challenge was, how do we feed one cat low calorie food & the other high calorie? We first tried separating their bowls into other rooms. That didn't work. Skinny cat decided she likes low calorie food & big cat decided she likes both types. But that's cats for you. We came across Surefeed Microchip Pet Feeder on YouTube. I tried to work out if I could initially get away with buying just one, as they aren't cheap, but I went for two. They arrived quickly and very well packaged. The cats loved playing in the empty box. The product is of quality construction and the instructions are very clear. It was really easy to programme each cat to it's own feeder. You just press the learn button and wait for the target cat to walk up to the feeder, that's it, simple. It reads the cats microchip, but if your cat isn't chipped, a microchip tag is provided that can be attached to the cats collar. There is a training mode, but ours didn't need it, It took just one evening for them to work it out. It's amazing how intelligent hungry cats can get. Big cat is now losing weight & skinny cat is now bulking up, so a perfect outcome. A couple of additional minor bonuses are; There's now no smell of cat food in the house & the flies can't get to the food either. Nice. I'd recommend these to anyone that's trying to feed a cat measured amounts of food. They aren't cheap, but they're definitely worth what you pay.

We bought two of these for our cats and they are brilliant - do exactly what they are supposed to. Our male cat used to eat his own and then finish off his sisters food, while she liked to graze all day, so this was the ideal solution. I was initially a bit worried that the cats would be scared of going through the reader and of the opening and closing door, but the lure of the food cured that! A couple of things to note are that each feeder takes 4 x C batteries and they also come with a grey split feeder bowl as well as a full bowl.
