When a pet approaches the feeder, it scans their microchip and opens the top if it recognises an authorised animal. When the animal moves away, the feeder automatically closes, preventing access by other animals or kids. To help your pet get accustomed to using the feeder, the device comes with thorough instructions and a training mode.

The bowl has a built-in seal that keeps food fresher and fly-free. One grey bowl, one split grey bowl, one grey mat, and one SureFlap RFID Collar Tag for non-microchipped animals are included with the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder.
