FRONTLINE® HOMEGARD Household Flea Spray
Did you know that fleas on your pet are only 5% of the problem? The other 95% are in your home in the form of flea eggs, larvae, and pupae. This is because fleas breed on your pet, and their eggs then fall off wherever your pet goes – for example, your sofa, bed, or flooring. These flea eggs hatch and cause an infestation.
To speed up eradicating a flea infestation, use FRONTLINE® HOMEGARD Household Flea Spray throughout your home, including under furniture. Don’t forget the car if your pet goes in there too. Use sparingly on wooden or glossy surfaces to avoid spotting. After treatment, leave the area for 60 minutes and air the room. Once you've started the fight, it keeps working for up to six months to help prevent future infestations. For best results, use in conjunction with a FRONTLINE® Flea and Tick Treatment for your pet.
Please Note: Permethrin is a substance toxic to cats above certain concentrations. This is why it must not be applied to cats or other pets, and they should be kept in a separate room during application. The room should be left vacant until the product has dried (1 hour) and the room is aired. Permethrin binds to the surface upon which it has been applied, minimising the risk of exposure to people and pets whilst still killing fleas. When used according to the instructions above, FRONTLINE® HOMEGARD Household Flea Spray can be used in homes with cats.
Instructions
How To Use:
The easy-to-use spray can be used throughout your home, on non-washable furniture and home textiles such as carpets, rugs, mats, sofas, and armchairs, and in your car if your dog goes in there too. Use sparingly on wooden or glossy surfaces to avoid spotting. Leave the area and do not re-enter until at least 1 hour after treatment or until treated areas are dry, and allow the area to air. One 1.3-second spray treats 1m2 in your home. The minimum time to wait between two treatments of FRONTLINE® HOMEGARD is 6 months.
Do not apply directly to animals as it is designed purely for the home and surrounding environments.
