I have kept my dog who is now aged 14 on this food for the past few years since she was first diagnosed with pancreatitis. She sometimes gets the occasional bout but keeping her on solely Royal Canin Gastrointestinal Low Fat wet and dry food works. She has four small meals four times a day to ensure that her tummy is never empty and she loves this food. She even has the occasional few dry nuggets as a treat. Happy dog, happy owner.

Our vet recommended this food for George because of his repeated bouts of diarrhoea. She thought he might be allergic to gluten and it turns out she was right. Since starting the hypoallergenic diet his stomach problems have resolved and he’s a very happy dog.

I bought this after my beagle had pancreatitis, the vets recommended this as she is on a low fat diet for life. I mix the kibble with tinned chappie & hot water she loves it. I order a bag one evening and received it the next day from Ocado free delivery.

I bought this diet, in both dry and wet form for our German Shephert who has had chronic diarrhoea for months even after ongoing veterinary treatment. It is very palatable even for a dog with little interest in eating. Our dog gained 3kgs in less that two weeks. So pleased.

Our dog has to have a low fat diet. He has this and the canned product. he is very healthy and loves this food.

Advised by vet to use this low fat diet and bought the dried version as som much cheaper than the wet. However I do mix it with some wet food. Dog is more than happy to eat it as a treat so think it must taste good'

This food was recommended by our dog’s vet due to a recent diabetes and pancreatitis diagnosis. It has helped to give our dog a ‘new lease of life’, along with major abdominal surgery she had recently. She eats it very well and never turns her nose up at it and is keen to eat every meal. We feed her slightly less than she had on her previous brand of food but it is sufficient for her needs. She has lost weight with this food giving her energy to walk further, whereas before she was quite sluggish and wanted to sleep a lot.
