Chappie Can Original

My pancreatic girl has been on Chappie origanal just over a year now on vets recommendation & it's kept her well Tummy wise, some tins you receive are 3% fat, some 4, the labels are printed differently on some aswell, quality of the can on some is also different, as I understand it, petsupermarket allow a 3rd party seller or source from a 3rd party? It's very odd, but it doesn't seem to have effected her, but I am looking into it with Mars , I'd hate to be feeding her counterfeit tins, maybe thats something petsupermarket could also provide answers for or look into, I also find it strange how hard it can be at times to source

Was feeding my diabetic and pancreatic dog Chappie, which he loved and was doing really well on, but then you quietly changed the recipe and the calorie content. Now it is too high fat for Billy. Such a shame as it is a brilliant food.

One of my dogs suffer with ear problems but as long as he is on this, which is fish based he is fine. The problem is getting it, only one supermarket sells it or Amazon in bulk.

Works brilliantly when dog gets an upset stomach, recommend to everyone.

The order was misleading, it says 12 tins and I only received 1 for 21 pounds. I find this disgraceful.

To feed my dog

This would have been a 5 star review if the tins as stated on the order had been the chicken and rice however all tins were of the original variety.
However in these trying times I was grateful to get any at all.

We fed our three dogs, 2 Labs and 1 Golden Retriever with Chappie Original for 12 years they loved the food and were very healthy in this food.

We have fed our Labrador Chappie Dog Food (Original) for nearly 10 years with Chappie biscuits and he just loves his meal times .A very happy and healthy dog. We would not buy him any other brand ,as first recommended to my wife, by a vet 35 years ago!

Our miniature poodle's thrived on Chappie. Unfortunately she can only have Original cans as she's chicken intolerant (apparently this is more common than you'd expect). Seeing her with an upset tummy and dribbly behind was terribly worrying. We tried numerous dog foods and even the BARF diet - nothing worked. Then we heard about Chappie and although we didn't expect great things we were proved wrong. After a week she was like a different dog. Full of beans, not throwing up and no dribbly bottom.

Does what it says on the tin. Our labradoodle had months of upset back end and trips to the garden at all hours of the night. Chappie might not cut it in the fashion stakes, but if you care about that and not your pet's well being perhaps you shouldn't have one. Our boy hasn't had any reoccurrences of the bad back end and coupled with free delivery and Give as you live donation, purchasing from Pet Supermarket couldn't be better. Per can might work out a few pence more, but it's easier to handle by courier!
