Effipro is an affordable spot-on solution containing fipronil for the treatment of flea and tick infestations in dogs and cats. It is applied using its unique, award-winning* 'Drop-Lock' pipette, designed to give you precise finger tip control - and that means no leaks or mess! The clear chamber means you can check easily whether you've applied all of the solution - and, once applied - it kills fleas fast, providing up to eight weeks protection for dogs and up to five weeks for cats.

Effipro Cat administration: by topical application to the skin, preferably the back of the neck and shoulders, 1 pipette of 0.5ml per cat. Follow the enclosed instructions for correct application. Can be applied on a monthly basis. Fleas from pets often infest the animal's basket, bedding and regular resting areas such as carpets and soft furnishings which should be treated, in case of massive infestation and at the beginning of the control measures, with a suitable insecticide and vacuumed regularly. For optimum control of flea problems in a multi-pet household, all dogs and cats in the household should be treated with a suitable insecticide. The product should not be used on kittens less than 2 months old and/or weighing less than 1kg. The product should not be used on sick animals, or on rabbits. Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals.

I have used this on two cats & both tolerate it well so use it every time. Easy to apply & works well. Just wish it wasn't such a battle to catch the cat!

Second to none

I am pleased with this make, my cat seems ok with it, I haven't noticed any little lodgers, though with other makes I used to use, didn't seem to deter lodgers.

Works pretty well

No flea spot on product seems to be completely effective. My elderly, frail cat tolerates this well and doesn't seem to find it as painful as the other brands. Frontline and Advantage had lost efficacy and both burned her skin, leaving her bald on the back of the neck. This product doesn't make her flee and hide after application. I do however still occasionally feel nibbled.
