The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap or the SureFlap DualScan Microchip Cat Flap cannot be installed in glass without the Cat Flap Mounting Adaptor.

A circular hole must be drilled into the glass for the cat flap to be installed.

The ideal hole size required is 212mm in diameter, with a maximum hole size of up to 260mm in diameter. The mounting adaptor fills in any gaps caused by the hole.

The mounting adaptor can also be used to neatly finish the installation of SureFlap cat flaps into walls.

The SureFlap Microchip Cat Flap and DualScan Microchip Cat Flap are compatible with the Cat Flap Mounting Adaptor.

Installations involving glass and walls must have it.

Glass hole diameter: 21 to 26 cm; 21.2 cm is the ideal size.
Dimensions of wall hole cut: 16.5 cm (W) x 17.1cm (H).
