Adaptil sprays are clinically proven to help reduce stress in your pets. It is over 90% effective in helping to reduce or eliminate stress reactions such as destructive behaviour, excessive vocalizations (barking, whining, etc.), and inappropriate soiling.

Adaptil Spray is an odourless synthetic copy of the dog appeasing pheromone (DAP) that is naturally produced by nursing canines. DAP helps dogs feel safe and secure and promotes a harmonious bond between them. The reassuring properties of DAP carry on into adulthood and so can be used to calm and comfort dogs in stressful or challenging situations that might occur throughout their life such as Fireworks, thunderstorms, car travel, and visits to the vet, therefore reducing or preventing behaviours that these events might cause.

These synthetic pheromones can be sprayed on and around the bedding, kennels, crates or in the car to help your pet feel less anxious. Allow 15 minutes for the spray to dry before letting the dog into the area the spray has been used. The effects of the spray will last 4 or 5 hours, ideal for a journey to the vets, for example. However, should your requirements be longer or your dog reacts differently simply reapply.

Adaptil spray is odourless, colourless and is recommended by vets worldwide. The spray is non-sedative and non-systemic, so can be used safely alongside other types of medications. It does not affect other species so it won't affect your other pets.
